At Bible Way, we believe the Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. God created us to live in community with other believers—to learn together, grow together, pray together, serve together, and worship together. Scripture reminds us of the importance of this kind of fellowship (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24–25).
For this reason, we believe church membership is a beautiful and important response to the work of the Gospel in a believer’s life. It is more than simply joining a church; it is a commitment to grow in Christ alongside a body of believers who are united in faith, love, and purpose.
The regular gathering of committed believers for worship, teaching, prayer, fellowship, and the sacraments is a vital part of spiritual growth and discipleship. Membership, therefore, is not only a blessing for the individual believer but also an important part of building a strong, healthy church.
